Busy Day

Today was a busy day. We got up before the crack of dawn and did the feeding. Then we headed to Trade Day with our pickup loaded down with junk. Got up there around 6:30 and found us a spot and got everything unloaded and set up. We had more this time than we did last Monday and it was a better day to get things sold. Tommy is trying to sell things for a friend who lost her husband. It is a lot of old tools and it takes a special group of people to be interested in it. They are normally older folks like us, who like to find things made in the good ole USA and don't mind that it doesn't have shiny new paint on it.This fellow always had a well kept shop and he was one of these people who could make and do most anything. It was overcast this morning and not hot like it normally would have been this time of year. It rained on us before we could get home. We still have a lot of things to find a home for, and it might just end up here.

This is a pic of our wares. Don't you just love our fancy tables? Hey, it works :)

I will end today's blog with a pic of the supper I fixed.

Swiss steak, corn, butterbeans and mashed taters. All courtesy of Cannon Farms.
